Shriji Medical Fund was formed by taking Rs. 1000/- donations from members of the Community with the aim to fund the medical expenses of Mr. Gunvant Vanmalidas Shah. But after the amount was collected it was decided that if Community members can contribute then if a Trust is formed then we can help members of the public also. So, in the year 1995, Shriji Medical Relief & Charitable Trust was formed. The main objective of the Trust was to give medical, medicinal and education relief to the downtrodden sections of the society without any bias to caste, creed or religion.

Mission of our Trust is to help the poor and downtrodden sections of the Society, children, adivasi, schedule caste & schedule tribe with medical and medicinal aid, educational aid. We conduct Health Check-up Camps, give 3 doses of Hepatitis-B Vaccinations, etc. We visit Orphanages, Old Age Homes, Hospitals, Girls Welfare Homes, Street Children’s Homes etc. and distribute foodgrains like rice, turdal, moong, salt, oil, ghee, biscuits, milk powder, sugar, tea, coffee, etc. We also distribute Sarees, Shirts, Pants, Leggings, T-Shirts, Tops, Sweaters, Blankets, etc. every year.
